Looks like the McAuliffe campaign sent out a promoted tweet around noon reminding people to vote during their lunch break. Terry McAuliffe is currently running for Governor in Virginia.
Pretty sure I received this message since I used to live in DC and still have a beltway phone number.
Aside from the targeting, I really like McAuliffe’s use of paid social media advertising in this instance.
Does anyone know if Chris Christie or Bill de Blasio or any of the other candidates in today’s big races are using similar tactics?
